Welcome to the Paws Zone!

This is the home of Paws Zone Australian Shepherds and Border Collies, and Paws Zone Agility.

I was given my first Australian Shepherd, Paddi, as a pet in 1986. Like many first time Aussie owners, I was overwhelmed by her boundless energy, and that drove me to enroll her in an obedience class. My best friend Ron knew I was hooked when we took first place at the obedience graduation exercises, but he married me anyway, in 1988. Our second Aussie, Nathan, joined the pack shortly after that. Paddi and Nathan excelled in obedience, but they also introduced us to agility and herding and the wonderful people that make up the dog world in general.

Paws Zone became a registered ASCA kennel name in 1998. Today it is home to multiple versatile performance Aussies and Border Collies.
